"I do think there are many other variables that you can take into account when you take Viagra, and we are going to focus on three. When we looked at the men, the men taking Viagra were much more sexually active."
In the study, researchers measured the length of an erection and used a pen to measure the size of an erection that the men had during intercourse. Then they examined the time to ejaculation. Viagra users had to take an erection-inducing pill at least 30 minutes before intercourse.
Viagra was the only drug that had been studied before and that was being prescribed for patients who had been taking nitrate-based medications for chest pain or who had suffered heart disease, heart failure, or angina.
